Hendrick's Gin has announced the latest addition to its limited-release collection from the Cabinet of Curiosities, Hendrick's Flora Adora, a special blend of flowers that pollinators love. The launch kicked off with a Wildflower Garden pop-up in partnership with CONTENTO.
The Hendrick's Flora Adora is a gin that boasts a captivating floral scent, which adds a new, irresistible dimension to the brand's signature style. Its juniper and coriander foundation is complemented by a lush, verdant, and sweet floral essence, resulting in a harmonious blend of flavours that exudes elegance and charm.
Flora Adora, Hendrick's limited edition gin, is crafted by Master Distiller Ms Lesley Gracie within the distinguished Hendrick's Gin Palace situated on the rugged Ayrshire coast of Southwest Scotland. Drawing inspiration from the fascinating pollination process in her garden, The Master Distiller handpicked a fragrant bouquet most adored by her nectar-loving friends to create this exquisite concoction.
Hendrick's Gin invited the media to the launch party at CONTENTO Italian Restaurant, which was transformed into a thriving floral sanctuary called Hendrick's Wildflower Garden. The press tasted an enthralling selection of Hendrick's Flora Adora cocktails and pairing dishes and had a diffuser workshop.
The menu boasted three distinct styles of gin, each perfectly paired with fresh seasonal Italian dishes. The Lover Club was a fruity concoction made with Hendrick's Flora Adora, raspberry & peach puree, lemon juice, and egg white. Next, The Wilds of Contento features strawberry & Earl Grey fortified wine and malic acid, topped with sparkling wine. Finally, a cocktail made with Hendrick's Flora Adora, rosemary vermouth, green tea umeshu, and lemon bitters was served, named Gioielli.
For a delightful experience, cocktails were accompanied by a delectable array of dishes from CONTENTO. The meal began with some appetising starters like Naked Tomatoes, a dish of marinated heirloom and cherry tomatoes accompanied by fresh homemade farm cheese, and Pan-Seared Baby Squid with N'Duja and Toasted Almonds. The main course was a light, refreshing Pan-seared Branzino Fillet with Baby Asparagus and Salsa Verde. Finally, a rich and creamy cheesecake dessert perfectly complements the cocktails' floral notes.
After the meal, the invited media had a diffuser workshop, in which they chose the perfume they liked from the selection, decorated the diffuser bottle and redeemed their results home.
