This year, the event anticipates participation from over 400 brands representing more than 23 countries and regions, drawing an impressive audience of 20,000+ global trade visitors. The diverse range of participants includes established industry leaders, emerging businesses, and key decision-makers, fostering unparalleled networking opportunities. Attendees will be able to engage in informative industry conferences featuring panel discussions led by eminent thought leaders at the THAIFEX - HOREC Academy. Furthermore, a specially curated buyers program aims to invite up to 500 top buyers, enhancing potential deal-making opportunities across Southeast Asia.
The inaugural THAIFEX - HOREC Asia last year was a resounding success, attracting the largest gathering of more than 390 invited buyers from 24 countries. The total estimated trade value generated exceeded 100 million USD, highlighting this event's immense economic impact and prospects.
Looking toward the future, it is projected that by 2040, Asia will represent over 50% of the world's GDP, with Thailand playing a pivotal role due to its strategic advantages and robust economic infrastructure. Within the HoReCa sector, Thailand has solidified its status as a regional powerhouse and strategic hub, with the market size forecasted to expand from 1.4 billion USD in 2024 to an impressive 1.9 billion USD by 2028. This growth is further supported by a resurgence in leisure tourism, as evidenced by the Average Daily Rates (ADRs) in hotels soaring more than 20% above pre-pandemic levels.
