Kunnida Wasusopon, Owner of Kiki Bottle Shop, opened this wine bar in this area because she is a local to this area and wanted to expand wine and dining culture to this area. She didn't graduate from culinary school, but her passion for wine drove her to take a wine course to understand the types of wines and learn how to pair wine with food.

As guests ascend the stairs, they'll notice the minimalist and functional decor of the wine bar, which creates a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. With a seating capacity of 20 people, Kiki Bottle Shop is an intimate and charming spot that's perfect for a date night or a catch-up session with friends.

In addition to its exceptional wine selection, Kiki Bottle Shop also serves up a range of delicious Thai tapas that are bursting with flavour. A snack such as Shrimp Crackers Topped with Shredded Salted Egg Yolk is a good appetiser. The complexity of the different levels of saltiness, combined with the crunchiness, goes best with light-body, medium-acidic white wine or Glou-Glou.

Kiki's House-Made Sai-Oua, a Northern Thai-Style Herb Sausage, has a medium level of spiciness. It has the taste and aroma of a Northern Thai spice called "Makwaen", a relative of the Sichuan pepper. It can be paired with any type of wine, as it doesn't overpower the wine's flavour. However, the best choice is Cabernet Sauvignon due to its green bell pepper, spice, tobacco, and wood notes, which link perfectly with the sausage's flavour.

Thai Rice Crackers with Smoked Duck Gaeng Ped is also a scrumptious and satisfying dish. The rice crackers are a vessel for the smoked duck accompanied by gaeng ped sauce. The rice crackers are fried perfectly, leaving them to last for an hour without losing their crispiness. The duck is juicy and aromatic and boasts smokiness. The gaeng ped sauce adds the richness of coconut milk and the red colour and spiciness from the gaeng ped paste. Although it can be paired with Reisling and Gewurztraminer. However, Pét-Nat is also a good candidate.

Jaew Beef Tartare is a Thai-Issaan-styled beef tartare with tangy, herbaceous, and spicy flavours. It features finely diced beef mixed with fish sauce, lime juice, roasted rice, mint, and chillies. A cured egg yolk is also placed on top of the dish, adding a salty and yolky flavour. This dish is perfect for refreshing, citrusy white, bubbly sparkling or peppery red.

Kiki's Fried Chicken is a mouth-watering delight that boasts a crispy texture and a tantalising aroma. To prepare this dish, the chicken is first marinated in a mixture of Southern Thai spices. Next, it is coated in a batter infused with the same spice mixture for an enhanced flavour and aroma. The chicken is then deep-fried to perfection, resulting in a crispy crust and a tender, juicy interior. Finally, crispy shallots are sprinkled on the fried chicken to add an extra layer of crunch and aroma. This dish goes with Grenache or Sauvignon blanc.

Kiki's Squid Inked Spicy Sour Mango Salad is a dish that our customers can't get enough of. It's a perfect blend of sweet, sour, and spicy flavours that tantalise the taste buds. Kiki uses sour mangoes and mixes them with fish sauce, sugar, chillies and squid ink, which gives the salad a unique and beautiful black colour. Squid ink also adds a subtle, brine taste to the dish, complementing the other ingredients perfectly. This salad is a perfect choice for those who love bold and adventurous flavours. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are good matches.

Grilled Thai Beef with Hog Plum is a lovely dish that no one should miss. The beef is grilled to perfection and served with sides of grilled sawah lettuce and garlic that add a refreshing crunch and aroma to the dish. The sticky rice, on the other hand, balances the flavours and offers a subtle sweetness that complements the savoury taste of the beef. The dish also comes with hog plum sauce, a perfect blend of sweet, salt, sour, and tangy flavours, making it a perfect accompaniment to the beef. This dish is a good company to bold and fuller-bodied reds, including warm climate Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and blends, Durif and Malbec
