THAIFEX–ANUGA ASIA 2025, the premier food and beverage trade event in the Asia Pacific, is poised to make its much-anticipated return from 27 to 31 May 2025. This landmark exhibition will take place at the IMPACT venue in Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand, and promises to be a pivotal gathering that brings together the industry's foremost leaders, innovative startups, and executives from around the globe. The event aims to identify and shape the emerging trends that will define the future landscape of the food industry.

Organised by the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand (DITP), the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC), and Koelnmesse, THAIFEX–ANUGA ASIA 2025 is expected to welcome over 3,100 exhibitors from more than 50 countries and regions. The event will also host over 2,000 buyers and attract approximately 90,000 trade visitors from diverse backgrounds, all eager to engage in business opportunities and networking.

This year's edition prominently highlights the increasing diversity of global supply chains, showcasing new entrants from emerging markets such as Central Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Countries like Gabon, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Uzbekistan will have a notable presence alongside a robust lineup of returning exhibitors and established names from the Asia Pacific, Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Newly established pavilions representing Australia, Hong Kong, and the Netherlands will further broaden sourcing opportunities for buyers across the region.
Under the compelling theme 'Beyond Food Experience,' THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2025 will delve into the ways in which the food and beverage sector is evolving in response to changing consumer preferences. With a growing interest in purpose-driven products that provide functional benefits, the theme will manifest through various special events and interactive activities designed to engage attendees.

One of the highlights will be the THAIFEX – ANUGA Trend Zone. Curated by the well-regarded knowledge partner Innova Market Insights, this zone will showcase the most influential global and regional trends currently shaping innovation in the food sector.

Additionally, the THAIFEX – ANUGA Taste Innovation Show will present the finalists and winners of cutting-edge products, including plant-based foods and alternative proteins that enhance the quality of ready-to-eat meals and snacks while preserving taste and texture excellence.
The THAIFEX – ANUGA Startup platform will spotlight 30 groundbreaking innovators and disruptors as they pitch their pioneering ideas to potential buyers, investors, and industry leaders. This platform offers a first glimpse into transformative concepts that are poised to revolutionise the food and beverage landscape.

To further promote forward-thinking in the industry, the Future Food Experience+ and the Alternative Protein Taste & Flavour Challenge will gather over 70 experts from renowned organisations such as Griffith Foods, Euromonitor International, and Tetra Pak Thailand. On 27 May, trade visitors will have the unique opportunity to sample various alternative protein products and cast their votes, with the winners announced on 28 May.

Culinary excellence will take centre stage at the Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge, where over 400 chefs from across the world will compete in more than 20 distinct culinary categories. This prestigious competition will showcase authentic Asian dishes alongside innovative global cuisines, judged by 57 esteemed experts from 12 different countries, including distinguished chefs like Willment Leong, Aiden Jongsung Ahn, Batbaatar Ragchaa, and Rudy Muller, all affiliated with the Worldchefs Association.
As the food and beverage market in the Asia Pacific region continues to expand at an impressive pace, THAIFEX–ANUGA ASIA serves as an indispensable platform for innovation, sourcing, and deal-making. According to Cognitive Market Research, the Asia Pacific F&B market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.8% from 2024 to 2031, driven by the region's rich tapestry of cultures and traditions that are in constant flux, reshaping the business landscape of food and beverage.
